About Us

Adam Henrique is a Canadian Professional ice hockey centre for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League. 

Born and raised in Burford, Ontario, Adam began his hockey career with Burford Minor Hockey followed by the Brantford 99er's. 

 He played his Major Junior hockey for the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL)where he was a member of the team that won back-to-back Memorial Cups in 2009 and 2010. 

He was selected 82nd overall at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. 

Brandon Montour is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League. 

Montour is of Mohawk descent and grew up in Ohsweken, a village inside the reserve of Six Nations of the Grand River. 

Montour started his hockey journey playing minor hockey in Cambridge, Ontario,  prior to joining the Brantford Golden Eagles hockey club in 2010–11. Montour then joined the Caledonia Corvairs for one season in 2012–13.

Montour played with the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League (USHL) and one season with the Univerty of Massachusetts Amherst, where he became the highest NHL draft pick in their school program's history.

 Montour was selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round, 55th overall of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. 

We have been so privileged to have the opportunity to pursue our dreams as athletes, and we believe it is our time to give back to a community that paved way for our success.  Brant and Six Nations is a place that we call home, a place where we put our skates on for the first time and a place that we will forever be grateful for the memories we’ve created. We believe the game of hockey has not only challenged us physically, but mentally. Because of this sport, we have learned determination, the value of teamwork, integrity and leadership; skills that we hope every child can develop.

We are grateful for the opportunities provided to us as young athletes, however, that is not the case for many families and children eager to be apart of a team. We created the Henrique Montour Foundation as an opportunity to give back to a community that has given us so much.
